Hi, I’m Torrie.

I plan and evaluate client-focused solutions, as well as design services and products that improve people’s lives and tell purposeful stories.
  • My work ranges from everyday apps, like food ordering and patient-provider communication, to social value creation through health intervention programming and inclusive entrepreneurship research. I actively search for innovative, community-centered interventions to help marginalized groups be seen, heard, and have a seat at the table.

As the world becomes more technology-centered, I want to ensure that all people’s needs are prioritized. What use is technology if it’s not accessible to the people that need it most?

With this in mind, I have expanded my social change tool kit. Over the past year, I have learned to code, conduct UX research, and create high fidelity mockups to solve user problems.

I’m excited to use the competencies that I’ve acquired through higher education and user-experience-related studies to promote sustainable and collaborative change that helps community flourishing and self-sufficiency.

These goals are large but I look forward to developing a career that uses my public health background, passion for value creation, and creative skills to scale impact.

When I’m not working, I’m reading, drawing, searching for antique shops, or finding new music artists to share with friends. I enjoy cooking dishes from different cultures and watching all things sci-fi related.

“Technology has become integral in how we navigate the world, so our digital experiences should be designed in ways that best incorporate life experiences, culture, and value creation for all stakeholders.”
